The One Dispensary That’s Making a Difference

Police & Thieves believes strongly in being a positive-communal force, which is why we are so passionate about giving back.

Our Denver based cannabis dispensaries focus each month on a different philanthropy or community outreach program. This outreach has gained traction, and as a result many of the vendors we work with have joined our effort in donating a portion of proceeds.

Police & Thieves being the best dispensary in Denver, Colorado is not just about selling quality products but also about being an involved, active member of the community. One of our ongoing support ventures has been with The Last Prisoner Project, who has brought together a group of justice-impacted individuals, policy and education experts, and leaders in the worlds of criminal justice and drug policy reform to work to end the fundamental injustice that is America's policy of cannabis prohibition.

Our dispensaries in Denver, Colorado spearheaded several such projects. If you are interested in following our monthly efforts, check our transparent delineation here:

March 2023

Our March endeavor was to donate money to The Denver Youth Pro Skills Basketball Program–

an institution that provides support to the community by using basketball as a vehicle to teach young people life skills like dedication, teamwork, and tools to overcome adversity. Police & Thieves and Pro Skills Basketball also believe that basketball is a great way to keep kids active and physically healthy.

February 2023

In February, we raised money to donate to the Center for African American Health (CAA Health). The Center for African American Health offers African American and Black Metro Denver communities resources for overcoming the root causes of health problems so they can empower the community and maximize their individual and family.

January 2023

Police & Thieves once again worked with the Last Prisoner Project and refocused efforts to raise awareness and funds for their important cause.

December 2022

Police & Thieves participated in our first annual Toy Drive! Donation bins for toys were located at both Police & Thieves locations. The toys were then dropped off at the Southwest Denver Coalition where they were dispersed to families with children throughout the community. We welcomed people to come to our two Denver dispensary locations to donate toys and provide some Holiday Cheer to those in our community who need it.

November 2022

Police & Thieves worked with the Last Prisoner Project for their Holiday Letter Drive. The past two years have been incredibly difficult for prisoners with COVID restrictions, access to visitations, and frequent lockdowns restricting internet access, so handwritten letters are their main form of communication.

October 2022

For October, Police & Thieves donated coats, underwear, socks, hats, gloves, & scarves to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to help prepare for their Winter Survival Kits. Donation boxes were available at both of our Police and Thieves dispensaries in Denver, Colordado.

September 2022

Police & Thieves returned to our ongoing effort to help the Last Prisoner Project. Check out the link below to learn more about Last Prisoner Project and donate. Also, donation boxes are always available at both Police & Thieves locations. www.lastprisonerproject.org

August 2022

A portion of all Police and Thieves' sales for the month of August were donated directly to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. In addition, several of our amazing vendors have partnered with us to act!

July 2022

For the month of July, Police & Thieves partnered with Smokiez to participate in a food drive at both of our locations. All the collected items were donated to the Bienvenidos Food Bank located here in Denver.

Our efforts are making a difference, and with your help they can have an even greater impact. These philanthropic deeds alone do not make us the best dispensary in Denver, Colorado, but they do make us a conscientious dispensary, one that is known for its premium flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals. Furthermore, we are owned and run by women and minority groups, are involved in the community, and looking to make a lasting change. We are actively seeking other philanthropy opportunities, so If you or someone you know has a worthy cause, please contact us at [email protected].
